Four Hundred Feet Ferrari

The place where I live has quite a few rich people. No... not BMWs and Mercs. That is not rich. I'm talking about Maserati, Bentley and Ferrari. I'm neither that rich nor would like the car to drive me. So I drive a fully manual Jeep Wrangler. The symbol of freedom!

Now coming to the point, while returning from work one day, I noticed a fairly new Ferrari F430 spider in my rear view mirror. The guy driving this beauty was maintaining a distance of at least 400 ft behind me. I could understand his fear. If I suddenly, for no good reason on earth, decide to ram into the reverse gear and step on the gas, his precious possession would be nothing more than a mere bump on the road for me.

Unfortunately for him this did not last long. There came the two traffic lights hardly 500 ft from each other. He had no choice but to tail gate me as he preferred his Ferrari to kiss my Jeep's ass than get honked at by a million impatient idiots behind him.

For car lovers

Here is something for car-o-philes.

This is a wallpaper I made from thumbnails from NYC Autoshow, '07. I captured quite a lot of cars but picked only selected few for this wallpaper. Sorry... but I forgot the names of some of them and hence those "???".

Blown-up versions of each of these cars is available in my album at Auto Show NYC 2007.

This show was not bad but I liked it better last year. I haven't made a wallpaper from last year's pics but you can find them here.

By the way, this picture is copyright protected and hence $100 will be charged for each download.
